Privacy first
Personal information should be treated as personal—not inventory.
INDEPENDENTLY DEVELOPED · IDAHO
ATLASSS is a personal AI system being built for continuity—so the context, commitments, and knowledge that matter to you are not trapped in someone else’s platform.
01 / WHAT IS ATLASSS?
ATLASSS is being designed as a long-term personal AI system—not a collection of isolated conversations. The goal is a system that can help a person preserve context across their life, their devices, and the technologies they use.
A NAME WITH A DIRECTION
That is the purpose behind ATLASSS: a personal AI being developed to stay oriented around its human—preserving what matters and helping life keep its direction.
An atlas is a collection of maps. It holds where you are, where you’ve been, and where you’re trying to go.
Your map. His mission. A brighter tomorrow.
02 / WHY IT EXISTS
Useful intelligence should not require surrendering your history.
Conversations disappear.
Services change.
Devices get replaced.
Life keeps moving.
AI is becoming useful enough that people may increasingly depend on it. If that happens, people should have meaningful ownership, privacy, continuity, and control over the intelligence they rely on.
03 / THE PRINCIPLES
Personal information should be treated as personal—not inventory.
Keep control close to home wherever the technology allows it.
You should be able to inspect, correct, and delete what a system retains.
Capability should never be mistaken for consent.
The business model should not be surveillance dressed up as convenience.
Hardware, providers, and models will change. Your relationship with your system should endure.
04 / BUILT IN THE REAL WORLD
ATLASSS is being independently developed in Idaho from a roughly 8 × 14-foot workspace, on ordinary and repurposed hardware—including a development machine nicknamed Frankenstein.
It grew from a practical frustration: people forget, lose context, get overwhelmed, and still need to follow through. Existing software forgets too.
Useful technology does not have to begin in a billion-dollar laboratory.
05 / DEVELOPMENT & TESTING
Documenting the work as it becomes real.
Building the core of a persistent, human-controlled system.
Preparing for testing, diagnosis, fixes, and retesting in everyday environments.
Three homes, selected to represent meaningfully different ways people live and interact with a personal AI.
ATLASSS is being prepared for testing across three real homes, deliberately representing different ways people live and interact with a personal AI, including individual and multi-person households.
The goal isn’t simply to see whether ATLASSS works somewhere else. It’s to learn how continuity, memory, permissions, personalization, and shared environments behave when ATLASSS becomes part of everyday life.
Development notes, testing updates, and short videos will appear here as they are ready. Future testing participants will remain anonymous. No invented milestones. No polished version of the truth.

Occasional updates when there is something honest to share. No unnecessary collection. No pre-checked boxes.
WEBSITE PRIVACY NOTE
When you submit an idea or join the pre-launch, this website stores the information you provide: your email for a signup, optional first name, how you heard about ATLASSS, your optional response, and limited visit context such as timestamp, page path, referrer, and supplied UTM labels.
That information is used only for ATLASSS pre-launch research and updates. It is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database used to operate this website. We do not use advertising pixels, cross-site tracking, fingerprinting, session replay, or sell personal information.
ATLASSS itself remains in development and testing.
